We are seeking a **CAD Designer** to join our Engineering Department. The selected candidate will assist in preparing detailed manufacturing and engineering drawings, creating component drawings from physical samples, and supporting design documentation activities.
- Prepare and modify 2D and 3D mechanical drawings.
- Create manufacturing drawings, part drawings, and assembly drawings as per engineering requirements.
- Measure components accurately using Vernier Calipers and other measuring instruments to develop technical drawings.
- Convert existing physical components into detailed engineering drawings.
- Update drawings based on design changes and production requirements.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with design, production, quality, and engineering teams.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards and manufacturing requirements.
- Support product development and documentation activities as required.
- Working knowledge of 2D and 3D design software.
- Understanding of engineering drawing principles.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and basic GD\&T concepts.
- Ability to use Vernier Calipers for accurate component measurement.
- Basic understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
