Position Overview
We are looking to hire a Senior Quality Engineer who is responsible for ensuring end‑to‑end quality of data pipelines, APIs, and databases through a combination of manual and automated testing. The Senior QE works closely with engineering teams in an in‑sprint QE model, applying risk‑based testing and informed judgment to deliver high‑quality data solutions.
Responsibilities
ExecuteAPI and database testing using a balanced mix ofmanual and automated approaches for data‑driven systems. Build, maintain, and executedata pipeline testing and validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Performend\-to\-end data validation usingPython and SQL, including reconciliation, business\-rule checks, and anomaly detection. Validate data acrossPostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL, ensuring schema integrity and data quality. Integrate QE activities intoCI/CD pipelines usingJenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps for timely quality feedback. Conductfile format validation forCSV, JSON, XML, and Parquet across ingestion and downstream systems. Work within anin\-sprint QE model, applying sound judgment to chooseautomation vs. manual testing and performingrisk‑based test prioritization under time constraints.
