• *Role Overview**

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and enthusiastic Android QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for validating Android applications across devices and operating system versions, executing functional and regression tests, identifying defects, and contributing to automation and continuous quality improvement.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in software testing concepts, basic Android and Linux knowledge, and an eagerness to learn automation tools and modern Quality Engineering practices.

• *Key Responsibilities**
• *1\. Testing \& Quality Assurance**
• Understand business requirements and user workflows and convert them into test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Execute test cases and report defects with sufficient evidence and reproduction steps.
• Participate in release validation and quality certification activities.
• Apply test design techniques such as Equivalence Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis, Decision Tables, and State Transition Testing.

• *2\. Android Application \& Device Testing**
• Test Android applications on emulators and physical devices.
• Validate application behaviour across different screen sizes and Android OS versions.
• Capture screenshots, logs, videos, and test evidence.
• Perform installation, upgrade, and compatibility testing.
• Use Android Debug Bridge (ADB) for basic troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Review Logcat outputs and assist in defect root cause analysis.

• *3\. Automation Engineering**
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Build reusable and data\-driven automation test suites.
• Contribute to automation framework development using industry\-standard tools.
• Execute automated test suites and analyse failures.
• Create utilities and helper scripts for test data preparation and validation.

• *4\. CI/CD \& Reporting**
• Trigger and monitor automated test executions through CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyse execution results and prepare quality reports.
• Participate in release\-readiness and quality\-signoff activities.
• Generate concise test execution summaries and release recommendations.
