Job Description

  • *Role Description:**

The CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) platform plays a critical role in enabling secure, scalable, and seamless identity services across enterprise applications, including authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, and compliance with global security standards in LSEG.

We are looking for an Automation Quality Engineer (QE) to contribute to the development and execution of automated test solutions supporting high\-quality CIAM services. This is a hands\-on role with a focus on UI, API, and data validation testing, working closely within agile teams.

  • *Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities:**
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts (UI, API, and data validation)
  • Contribute to automation framework development under guidance from senior engineers
  • Collaborate with developers and QEs to understand requirements and design test cases
  • Execute functional, integration, and data validation tests across services
  • Perform API testing and validate responses and backend data consistency
  • Identify, log, and track defects through resolution
  • Participate in test planning, test design, and execution within agile teams
  • Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Assist in testing within cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
  • Generate and maintain test reports using tools such as Allure
  • *Essential Skills \& Experience:**
  • 4–7 years of experience in automation testing
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
  • Hands\-on experience in UI \& API automation (Selenium or Playwright – mandatory)
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest (or equivalent)
  • Good knowledge of API testing (REST, SOAP, Postman)
  • Understanding of data testing, including SQL queries and data validation
  • Basic understanding of contract testing or API schema validation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Basic experience with Docker and exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools (Jira)
  • *Desired Skills:**
  • Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter / K6\)
  • Experience with reporting tools (Allure, Postman collections)
  • Basic understanding of CIAM or authentication workflows (OAuth, LDAP)
  • Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new tools and technologies
