• *About the Role**

We are an cutting edge technology company preparing multiple cloud\-based software products for production deployment. We are looking for a hands\-on AWS DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, secure, monitor, and maintain our staging and production environments.

This is not a documentation\-only role. We need someone who can understand a real product stack, propose a practical AWS architecture, implement it, troubleshoot it, secure it, and support it after deployment.

• *Responsibilities**

• Design and implement AWS staging and production infrastructure.
• Deploy containerized backend, frontend, worker, and API services.
• Work with ECS on EC2 and/or EKS depending on the approved architecture.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
• Configure production\-grade networking, routing, load balancing, DNS, SSL/TLS, and security groups.
• Configure and manage RDS databases, backups, restore procedures, and monitoring.
• Configure Redis or equivalent caching/queue infrastructure.
• Set up object storage, lifecycle policies, encryption, and access controls.
• Manage IAM roles, policies, Secrets Manager, SSM Parameter Store, and KMS.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerts, dashboards, health checks, and incident\-response workflows.
• Create rollback, disaster\-recovery, and restore\-test procedures.
• Prepare infrastructure\-as\-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or similar tools.
• Optimize AWS costs while maintaining reliability and security.
• Document the infrastructure clearly enough for another engineer to operate it.
• Work with backend, frontend, and product teams across time zones.

• *Required Skills**

• Strong hands\-on AWS experience.
• Production experience with ECS on EC2 and/or EKS.
• Strong Docker and container deployment experience.
• Linux server administration experience.
• Experience with RDS, preferably MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Redis or similar queue/cache systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS networking: VPC, subnets, routing, NAT, ALB, NLB, Route 53, ACM, and security groups.
• Experience with IAM, Secrets Manager, SSM, KMS, and secure credential handling.
• Experience with CloudWatch logs, metrics, alarms, and dashboards.
• Ability to troubleshoot failed deployments, networking issues, IAM permissions, container crashes, database connectivity, and scaling problems.
• Ability to create a practical architecture plan and then implement it.

• *Strongly Preferred**

• Experience deploying Python/FastAPI or similar backend services.
• Experience with WebSocket\-based production services.
• Experience with Celery or similar background worker systems.
• Experience with ML/API services or high\-throughput API workloads.
• Experience with repository, CI runner, or developer\-platform infrastructure.
• Experience securing build systems and avoiding unsafe Docker socket exposure.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience working in startup environments where ownership, speed, and clarity matter.

• *What We Do Not Want**

Please do not apply if your experience is mainly

• writing architecture documents without implementation;
• creating diagrams but not deploying production systems;
• basic EC2 setup only;
• WordPress or simple website hosting only;
• copying generic AWS templates without understanding the system;
• requiring step\-by\-step instructions for every task.

This role requires real ownership.

• *Working Style**

We need someone who communicates clearly, gives realistic timelines, raises blockers early, and completes work without constant follow\-up.

You should be able to explain infrastructure decisions in practical terms and balance cost, reliability, security, and speed.

• *Confidentiality**

This role may involve access to private code, infrastructure, product architecture, and sensitive company materials. NDA and confidentiality agreement will be required before detailed product information is shared.

Pay: ₹300,000\.00 \- ₹500,000\.00 per year
