AWS Solution Architect

• *Job Summary**

UST is seeking a Senior / Principal AWS Solutions Architect with 15\+ years of overall IT experience, including 6\+ years in cloud architecture. The role will lead the architecture and modernization of secure, scalable, and cost\-optimized cloud platforms for regulated industries, including BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, and Government / Public Sector.

The ideal candidate brings Proficient expertise in AWS, Solution Architecture, and AWS Networking \& Security, combined with Intermediate experience in Terraform, AWS Control Tower/Landing Zones, and CI/CD. The role also requires Basic exposure to Multi\-Cloud, FinOps, and AI/GenAI (Bedrock/Amazon Q) to support cloud governance, automation, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end\-to\-end Solution Architecture for AWS platforms, from discovery and assessment through architecture, implementation, and hypercare.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into secure, scalable, production\-grade AWS architectures.
• Provide architecture leadership across AWS Networking \& Security, ensuring secure connectivity, network segmentation, identity, access controls, encryption, and security governance.
• Design and build enterprise cloud foundations using AWS Control Tower/Landing Zones, including account structures, identity, network architecture, security controls, and governance guardrails.
• Develop modular and reusable infrastructure using Terraform to enable standardized and repeatable cloud deployments.
• Integrate infrastructure automation with CI/CD practices to improve consistency and efficiency across cloud platform delivery.
• Apply Multi\-Cloud principles where workloads and governance span AWS and other cloud environments.
• Incorporate FinOps practices into architecture decisions to improve cloud cost visibility, governance, and optimization.
• Apply AI/GenAI (Bedrock/Amazon Q) concepts to cloud assessment, automation, and solutioning opportunities.
• Create architecture decision records, high\-level and low\-level designs, and executive\-ready architecture blueprints.
• Act as a trusted architecture advisor to stakeholders and provide technical leadership across cloud transformation engagements.
• Mentor engineers and architects and contribute reusable cloud architecture and engineering assets.
