##### **Project description**

We are seeking an experienced AxiomSL Regulatory Reporting Test Analyst to support a bank's migration of regulatory reporting from OSX to AxiomSL

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing and executing functional, integration, regression and migration testing to ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of regulatory reporting outputs.

The role requires hands\-on AxiomSL testing experience, strong SQL and data reconciliation skills, and a solid understanding of European banking regulatory reporting requirements.

The consultant will work closely with Regulatory Reporting SMEs, Business Analysts, AxiomSL Developers and Data Engineering teams to validate data transformations, regulatory calculations, reporting templates and end\-to\-end reporting processes.

A key responsibility will be to reconcile reporting outputs between OSX and AxiomSL, investigate discrepancies and ensure the migrated reporting solution meets approved regulatory and business requirements.

##### **Responsibilities**

AxiomSL Regulatory Reporting Testing

Design, develop and execute functional test cases for AxiomSL regulatory reporting solutions.

Validate AxiomSL data mappings, transformation rules, calculations, aggregations and reporting outputs.

Test regulatory reporting workflows, including data ingestion, processing, validation and report generation.

Validate taxonomy\-based regulatory reports, including reporting templates, data points, business rules and regulatory validation checks.

Test custom\-built and freeform regulatory reports, including bespoke calculations, mappings and output formats.

Verify that AxiomSL configurations and reporting logic meet approved business and regulatory specifications.

Perform positive, negative, boundary and exception testing.

Support regression testing following system enhancements, regulatory changes and defect fixes.

OSX\-to\-AxiomSL Migration Testing

Develop and execute migration test scenarios covering existing OSX reporting functionality and the target AxiomSL solution.

Validate that regulatory reporting requirements, calculations, mappings and controls have been correctly migrated.

Perform detailed reconciliation between OSX and AxiomSL reporting outputs.

Investigate differences in report values, data aggregation, calculations, transformations and validation results.

Identify discrepancies arising from differences in source data, reporting logic, configuration or regulatory interpretation.

Support parallel reporting runs to verify consistency between the legacy and target platforms.

Document reconciliation results, discrepancies and supporting evidence.

Work with Business Analysts and Developers to resolve defects and validate corrections.

Support migration readiness assessments, cutover testing and post\-migration validation.

Key activities include

Validate regulatory reporting calculations, aggregations and reporting outputs against approved requirements.

Verify data completeness, accuracy and consistency across regulatory reporting templates.

Test regulatory validation rules, including cross\-template and cross\-report consistency checks.

Validate applicable EBA taxonomy requirements and other regulatory reporting formats.

Investigate reporting discrepancies and identify potential data quality or calculation issues.

Work with Regulatory Reporting SMEs to confirm expected results and resolve functional queries.

Data Validation, SQL \& Reconciliation

Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data across source systems, staging layers and AxiomSL.

Perform source\-to\-target data reconciliation and verify transformation logic.

Validate data completeness, accuracy, integrity and consistency throughout the reporting lifecycle.

Test data aggregation, filtering, calculations and business rules.

Identify and investigate data quality issues, including missing records, duplicates, incorrect mappings and inconsistent values.

Validate data lineage and traceability from source systems through to regulatory reporting outputs.

Support reconciliation of detailed data, intermediate calculations and final regulatory reports.

Document testing evidence and reconciliation results to support auditability.

Test Planning, Execution \& Defect Management

Review business requirements, functional specifications, data mappings and technical designs to identify testing requirements.

Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data requirements and expected results.

Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), regression testing and migration testing.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Regulatory Reporting and business stakeholders.

Log, analyse, prioritise and track defects through resolution.

Perform root\-cause analysis to distinguish data issues, configuration defects, calculation errors and requirement gaps.

Coordinate defect resolution with AxiomSL Developers, Data Engineers and Business Analysts.

Maintain test execution records, defect logs, reconciliation evidence and test completion reports.

Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, issues and dependencies.

Support test exit assessments and provide evidence for migration readiness and go\-live decisions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Risk, IT and Data Management teams.

Collaborate with AxiomSL Implementation Consultants and Business Analysts to understand reporting logic and expected outputs.

Participate in requirements walkthroughs, solution reviews and defect triage meetings.

Communicate testing findings and reporting discrepancies clearly to business and technical stakeholders.

Escalate critical defects and data quality issues that could affect regulatory reporting accuracy or migration timelines.

Support knowledge transfer and documentation for ongoing BAU testing activities.

##### **Skills**

Must have

MUST HAVE 5\+ years of experience in AxiomSL testing, data testing or regulatory reporting testing within banking or financial services.

Hands\-on experience testing AxiomSL regulatory reporting solutions, including report generation, data transformations, calculations and validations.

Experience testing taxonomy\-based regulatory reporting solutions, particularly EBA reporting frameworks.

Understanding of custom\-built/freeform regulatory reporting and associated testing requirements.

Experience testing European banking regulatory reports, particularly LCR, NSFR, ALMM, COREP and/or AnaCredit.

Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, aggregations and data reconciliation.

Experience validating source\-to\-target mappings, ETL processes and regulatory reporting data flows.

Experience performing detailed report reconciliation and investigating discrepancies.

Experience with functional testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing and defect management.

Ability to analyse complex reporting calculations and validate expected results.

Experience working with Business Analysts, Developers and Regulatory Reporting SMEs.

Strong analytical, problem\-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage testing activities across multiple reporting workstreams.

Professional proficiency in English.

Previous experience testing migrations from OSX to AxiomSL.

Experience with AxiomSL RegCloud and custom\-built AxiomSL implementations.

Familiarity with EBA reporting taxonomies, XBRL, regulatory validation rules and reporting templates.

Knowledge of Dutch regulatory reporting requirements and DNB reporting processes.

Experience with automated data testing and reconciliation tools.

Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM or similar test management tools.

Familiarity with data warehouses, ETL pipelines and banking data integration.

Experience supporting regulatory reporting parallel runs, cutover testing and production stabilisation.

Understanding of regulatory reporting controls, auditability and data lineage.
