Job Summary

Enterprise Data Architecture

Define and own the enterprise data architecture strategy.

Design end\-to\-end Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

Develop and maintain canonical data models and conformed dimensions.

Establish architecture standards, modeling guidelines, and best practices.

Ensure scalability and platform\-agnostic design with minimal vendor lock\-in.

Lead data contract design, schema governance, and versioning strategies.

Data Modeling

Design enterprise\-grade dimensional models (Star, Snowflake, Galaxy).

Define fact tables (transactional, snapshot, accumulating).

Design dimension tables (SCD Type 1, 2, hybrid).

Define grain, keys, hierarchies, and business semantics.

Create conformed dimensions enabling cross\-domain analytics.

Optimize models for performance and usability.

Design semantic models for BI and analytics.

Data Product \& Domain Design

Define datasets as data products with ownership and SLAs.

Apply domain\-driven design principles.

Enable Data Mesh readiness through modular design.

Governance \& Data Quality

Define governance frameworks including metadata, lineage, and cataloging.

Establish data quality rules and validation standards.

Ensure auditability, compliance, and traceability.

Security \& Compliance

Embed RBAC, row/column security, masking, and encryption.

Ensure adherence to enterprise data protection standards.

Leadership \& Stakeholder Engagement

Provide architectural leadership across teams.

Mentor engineers on best practices.

Align business requirements with scalable data models.

Required Qualifications

8\+ years in data architecture and modeling.

Deep expertise in dimensional modeling (facts, dimensions, SCDs).

Experience with canonical models and Medallion architecture.

Strong governance, metadata, and data contract experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Data Mesh and domain\-driven architecture.

Familiarity with governance tools

Exposure to dbt and semantic modeling frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Designing, developing, and implementing devops pipelines and workflows in azure devops.

2\. Collaborating with development and operations teams to facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment (ci/cd).

3\. Monitoring and optimizing the performance of azure devops tools and processes.

4\. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to devops practices in azure.

5\. Providing technical guidance and support to team members on azure devops best practices.

6\. Implementing security measures within the devops process to ensure data protection and compliance.

7\. Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to improve the efficiency of devops solutions in azure.

Skill Requirements

1\. Proficiency in azure devops services and tools.

2\. Strong understanding of devops principles and practices.

3\. Experience with ci/cd pipelines and automation using azure devops.

4\. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as docker and kubernetes.

5\. Familiarity with scripting languages like powershell, bash, or python.

6\. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in devops workflows.

7\. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.

8\. Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail in implementing devops solutions in azure.

Other Requirements

1\.Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification is preferred but not mandatory required.
