Azure SRE Engineer - SQL

• *Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong proficiency in Azure and SQL and knowledge of Monitoring tools. The role focuses on improving the reliability, scalability, performance, and availability of cloud\-based platforms through effective operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous reliability improvements.

The ideal candidate will bring 6–13 years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to Cloud, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering and collaborate effectively across development, platform, and security teams.

• *Key Responsibilities**
• Own and improve the reliability, scalability, performance, and availability of Azure\-based platforms and services.
• Support and troubleshoot production workloads and cloud operations in Azure environments.
• Use SQL to support relevant operational and troubleshooting activities.
• Use Monitoring tools to support observability and proactively identify and resolve operational issues.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with development, platform, and security teams to maintain reliable and secure cloud operations.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering practices such as SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and postmortem reviews.
• Continuously improve platform resilience and operational efficiency.
