1\. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to develop, maintain, and optimize server\-side applications, APIs, and database systems. The candidate will work closely with frontend developers and other team members to build secure, scalable, and high\-performance web applications.

2\. Roles \& Responsibilities

• *A. Backend Development**

• Design, develop, and maintain server\-side applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code.
• Implement business logic and application functionality.
• Debug and resolve backend issues.

• *B. Database Management**

• Design and maintain databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Write optimized database queries and manage CRUD operations.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.

• *C. Technologies \& Frameworks**

• Work with Node.js and Express.js for backend development.
• Develop API integrations with frontend applications.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control.
• Test APIs using Postman or similar tools.

• *D. Security \& Performance**

• Implement backend security best practices.
• Handle error management, validation, and data protection.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Identify and fix bugs, bottlenecks, and technical issues.

• *E. Team Collaboration**

• Coordinate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Understand project requirements and deliver solutions within deadlines.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards.

3\. Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with Express.js or similar backend frameworks.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming and error handling.
• Knowledge of deployment and cloud platforms is an added advantage.

4\. Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• BCA / MCA / B.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Candidates with relevant project experience and practical technical skills are encouraged to apply.
