About ClusterHR

ClusterHR is a comprehensive HRMS platform designed to simplify and automate HR operations, including employee management, attendance, leave, payroll, recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our development team and contribute to building scalable, secure, and efficient backend services for our HRMS platform.

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend APIs and services for the ClusterHR platform.
• Work with the development team to implement new features and improve existing functionalities.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well\-documented code.
• Work with databases to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.
• Assist in implementing business logic for HRMS modules such as Employee Management, Attendance, Leave, and Payroll.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities.
• Ensure data security, validation, and application performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP.
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend application development.
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Understanding of object\-oriented programming concepts.
• Basic knowledge of authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Hands\-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with JWT authentication.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Exposure to HRMS, ERP, or SaaS application development.

Eligibility

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and project experience are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with personal projects, academic projects, or GitHub contributions will be preferred.
