Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our software development team. The candidate will assist in developing and maintaining server\-side applications, APIs, databases, and backend functionality. This internship is suitable for freshers who want practical experience in backend development and modern web technologies.

Roles \& Responsibilities

• *1\. Backend Development**

• Assist in developing and maintaining server\-side applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Implement backend logic and application functionality.
• Assist in debugging and resolving technical issues.

• *2\. Database Management**

• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Perform basic database operations, including CRUD operations.
• Assist in database design, queries, and data management.
• Maintain data accuracy and consistency.

• *3\. Technologies \& Tools**

• Work with Node.js and Express.js for backend development.
• Understand and implement API integration.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control.
• Assist with authentication, authorization, and basic security practices.
• Learn to test APIs using tools such as Postman.

• *4\. Testing \& Maintenance**

• Test backend functionality and API responses.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of existing applications.
• Coordinate with frontend developers for API integration.

• *5\. Team Collaboration**

• Work with frontend developers and other team members.
• Follow coding standards and project requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Learn new tools, technologies, and development practices.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of any backend programming language.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and Node.js is preferred.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub is preferred.
• Good problem\-solving and logical thinking skills.
• Willingness to learn and work on real\-world projects.

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• BCA / MCA / B.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Freshers with relevant projects or practical coding knowledge are encouraged to apply.
