Backend Developer

Mcube finance is seeking a Node.js (Express) Backend Developer to support a real-time sports application that handles live match data, high user traffic, and scalable APIs. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining REST APIs with Node.js and Express, designing scalable backend architecture for high traffic, managing real-time data ingestion and processing, integrating databases and caching layers, and ensuring API performance, security, and reliability. Required qualifications are strong experience with Node.js and Express, familiarity with MongoDB or PostgreSQL, knowledge of API design, authentication and authorization, performance optimization, caching, and cloud deployment on AWS or GCP. Desirable skills include experience with WebSockets or real-time systems and understanding rate limiting for high-traffic environments. The role focuses on robust backend development for dynamic applications.
