\#\# About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, real\-time communication, and scalable backend systems. The candidate should have hands\-on experience with WebRTC video calling, databases, cloud deployment, DevOps, payment gateways, bulk/OTP SMS, and WhatsApp integrations.

\#\# Key Responsibilities

\- Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and REST APIs.

\- Build real\-time communication features using WebRTC, Socket.IO, and WebSockets, including signaling servers and video call management.

\- Design and optimize MongoDB schemas, queries, indexes, and data models.

\- Implement Redis for caching, session management, real\-time state, and background jobs.

\- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on cloud platforms.

\- Manage application logging, monitoring, error tracking, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

\- Integrate payment gateways, including payment processing, webhooks, transaction verification, and refunds.

\- Integrate bulk SMS, OTP SMS, and WhatsApp Business API for authentication, notifications, and automated messaging.

\- Implement secure authentication, authorization, API protection, and data validation.

\- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams; maintain documentation and troubleshoot production issues.

\- Structured logging, metrics, monitoring, alerting, and error handling

\- Unit, integration, and API testing using Postman or similar tools

\#\# Preferred Qualifications

\- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

\- 2–5 years of professional backend development experience.

\- Experience with production\-grade video calling or real\-time communication applications.

\- Familiarity with coturn, message queues, background jobs, load balancing, horizontal scaling, and distributed systems.

\- Ability to troubleshoot production applications and cloud infrastructure.

Independently develop backend services, integrate third\-party APIs, manage databases, deploy applications, resolve production issues, and build secure, reliable, and scalable communication systems.

Pay: ₹349,000\.00 \- ₹1,660,000\.00 per year
