Backend Developer (Senior / Lead) — Node.js / Express

• *Experience:** 5\+ years (backend; strong Node.js/Express, microservices, integrations)

• *Role summary**

Own backend architecture and the integration layer. Set the microservice boundaries, define API and integration contracts, own backend security and the data model, and mentor the team.

• *Key responsibilities**

• Own microservice decomposition and boundaries, and the shared service libraries.
• Design and own REST APIs (OpenAPI 3\.x) and third\-party / system integration contracts — including resilience patterns (correlation IDs, retries/backoff, circuit breakers, idempotency keys).
• Own backend security and data architecture: OAuth2/OIDC/JWT, RBAC, audit logging, encryption, and secure data handling.
• Author backend architecture and API design documentation.
• Lead API and data\-model reviews, set coding standards and CI/CD security gates, and mentor the backend developer.

• *Required**

• Deep Node.js \+ Express with production microservices and complex third\-party / system integration
• experience.
• Strong API design (OpenAPI 3\.x), PostgreSQL data modelling, Redis, and resilience patterns (retry, circuit breaker, idempotency).
• Solid security architecture: OAuth2/JWT/MFA, RBAC, audit logging, secrets and key management.
• Proven technical leadership — design ownership, code review, and mentoring.
• Docker / Kubernetes and CI/CD security\-tooling familiarity.

• *Nice to have**

• High\-scale platform experience.
• Event\-driven architecture, message queues, OpenTelemetry / observability.
• Experience authoring architecture/design documents and leading integration design.

Pay: ₹25,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
