• *About the Role**

We are looking for a Backend\-Focused MERN Stack Developer with 2 years of experience in building scalable web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and JavaScript/TypeScript, along with exposure to AI technologies such as LLMs, LangChain, RAG pipelines, and Python\-based AI integrations.

You will work closely with product, frontend, and AI teams to design, develop, and maintain backend services while contributing to AI\-powered features and automation solutions.

• *Key Responsibilities**

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.

· Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.

· Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.

· Design database schemas and optimize query performance.

· Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with React\-based applications.

· Develop and maintain AI\-powered features using LLMs and LangChain frameworks.

· Build Retrieval\-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases and embeddings.

· Integrate third\-party AI services and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).

· Develop Python scripts/services for AI workflows, data processing, and model integrations.

· Write clean, maintainable, and well\-documented code.

· Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

• *Required Skills**

· 2 years of professional experience in software development.

· Strong proficiency in:Node.js,Express.js,MongoDB,JavaScript (ES6\+) / TypeScript,REST API Development

· Experience with React.js and MERN stack architecture.

· Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.

· Experience with Git and version control workflows.

· Understanding of software design patterns and backend architecture.

· Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

· AI \& Python Requirements

· Basic to intermediate experience with:Large Language Models (LLMs),LangChain,Retrieval\-Augmented Generation (RAG),Prompt Engineering,Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, etc.),Python for AI integrations and automation,Experience integrating AI APIs into web applications.

• *Preferred Qualifications**

· Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.

· Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

· Familiarity with Redis, message queues, or caching strategies.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

· Understanding of AI agent frameworks and workflow orchestration tools.

· Primary Stack: Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, React.js, AI Integrations, Python

· Focus Area: Backend Development with AI Enablement.
