Job Description
- *Job Details:**
- Analyze and spread financial statements including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements along with complex borrower financial statements, including consolidated and multi\-entity structures.
- Extract and input financial data into bank\-approved spreading tool.
- Perform advanced financial normalization, adjustments, and reclassifications to ensure consistency and comparability.
- Review audited and compiled financial statements for completeness and accuracy.
- Calculate and validate key financial metrics, ratios.
- Identify discrepancies, missing information, and unusual financial trends for escalation.
- Analyze historical performance and identify significant financial trends and business risks.
- Review financial spreads completed by junior analysts and associates.
- Participate in internal audits, quality reviews, and risk\-control activities.
- Drive continuous improvements to enhance accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor and coach Associates on financial spreading methodologies and credit fundamentals.
- Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist team leaders in training, onboarding, and knowledge management initiatives.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for spreading systems, financial statement analysis, and process best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and turnaround time.
- Participate in automation, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials.
- Support Credit Analysts and Underwriters in financial statement analysis and credit evaluations.
- Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and productivity targets.
- Ensure adherence to credit policies, spreading guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, or regional accounting standards.
- Familiarity with spreading tools such as Moody's Credit Lens, nCino, or any other systems.
- Participating in the training programs based on business needs.
- *Job Requirements eligibility Criteria:**
- 4\-6 Years of experience in Banking BPO is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement interpretation, and credit risk concepts
- Advanced analytical and problem\-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts.
- Ability to communicate (oral/written) effectively in English to exchange information with our client when required.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, CMA, FRM, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
