We are now building an aggressive new business function to fuel the next phase of agency growth. **Role Description** We are looking for a BD Sales Manager who will own new client acquisition for Digital Mojo end\-to\-end. This person will prospect, pitch, follow up, and close. They will convert inbound leads generated by the BD Marketing function, build their own outbound pipeline, represent Digital Mojo in client meetings, and bring in new retainer business consistently every month. If you are someone who thrives on the chase, loves closing, and wants to be rewarded directly for what you bring in, read on. **What This Role Is Not** * Not an account management role * Not someone who waits for leads to come in and sends one follow\-up email * Not someone who pitches and disappears * Not a presenter who cannot handle objections * Not someone who needs six approvals before sending a proposal **Key Responsibilities** **1\. Outbound Prospecting and Pipeline Building** * Build and maintain a healthy outbound pipeline of potential clients across target industries * Identify and research prospect businesses in real estate, education, healthcare, retail, and other key verticals * Execute outreach across LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, and phone with personalized, relevant messaging * Attend networking events, industry forums, and business communities to generate warm introductions * Build relationships with business owners, marketing heads, and decision\-makers before they are ready to buy * Maintain a live, updated CRM with every prospect, conversation, and next step logged accurately **2\. Inbound Lead Conversion** * Pick up and qualify inbound leads generated by the BD Marketing function within 24 hours * Run discovery calls to understand prospect business goals, current marketing, and pain points * Assess fit and budget before investing time in a full proposal * Move qualified prospects through the pipeline from first conversation to signed contract efficiently * Maintain a clear view of inbound lead status, conversion rate, and drop\-off points at all times **3\. Pitching and Proposal Management** * Lead client pitch meetings independently or alongside the Founder * Develop customized proposals in collaboration with the BD Marketing Manager and Pod Managers * Present Digital Mojo's capabilities, case studies, and recommended approach with confidence and clarity * Handle pricing conversations, scope discussions, and objections without flinching * Follow up on every proposal with structure and persistence until a decision is made * Know when to walk away from a deal that will not be commercially viable for the agency **4\. Closing and Contracting** * Own the deal from pitch to signed agreement * Negotiate commercial terms within approved parameters without discounting unnecessarily * Coordinate with the Founder on deal approval, pricing flexibility, and contract terms * Ensure a clean handover to the Pod Manager once a client is onboarded with full context and expectations documented * Track closed revenue monthly and report against targets with transparency **5\. Market Intelligence and Feedback** * Bring back consistent feedback from the market on what prospects care about, object to, and compare against * Share competitor intelligence with the Founder and BD Marketing Manager regularly * Identify patterns in why deals are won or lost and recommend adjustments to the pitch or positioning * Flag emerging opportunities in new industries or geographies worth pursuing **6\.
