We are looking for a dynamic and result\-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive sales growth, develop strategic partnerships, and expand the company's presence in the travel and tourism sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and tourism partners, and achieving revenue targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development \& Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the travel and tourism market.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into long\-term clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and channel partners.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Handle key accounts and nurture long\-term business relationships.
Travel Product Promotion
- Promote domestic and international tour packages, group tours, MICE services, hotel bookings, and travel\-related products.
- Collaborate with operations and product teams to design customized travel solutions.
- Stay updated on travel destinations, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Partnership \& Market Expansion
- Develop alliances with hotels, airlines, destination management companies (DMCs), and travel vendors.
- Explore new markets and business channels to expand the company's customer base.
- Participate in travel exhibitions, trade fairs, networking events, and industry conferences.
Reporting \& Analysis
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
- Monitor sales performance and market trends.
- Maintain CRM records and update management on business activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Travel \& Tourism, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within the Travel \& Tourism industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating business growth.
Pay: ₹45,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
