• *Application Engineer – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)**

• *Location : Bangalore**

The Application Engineer – BESS will be responsible for technical solution development, system sizing, proposal support, customer engagement, and application engineering for Utility Scale and Commercial \& Industrial (C\&I) Battery Energy Storage Systems.

The role requires strong knowledge of BESS sizing methodologies, renewable energy integration, grid services, power conversion systems (PCS), EMS, battery technologies, and project techno\-commercial evaluation.

The engineer will work closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, EPC, and Customers to develop optimized BESS solutions for various applications.

• *BESS Solution Design \& Sizing**

• Perform BESS sizing based on customer requirements and project use cases.
• Develop technical solutions for:

• Understand Grid Code requirements and utility interconnection requirements.
• Analyse customer load data and electricity tariff structures.

• Hands\-on experience sizing systems from 500 kWh C\&I projects up to 500\+ MWh Utility\-scale BESS projects.
• Experience with DC\-coupled and AC\-coupled Solar \+ BESS architectures.
• Exposure to PCS technologies (String PCS and Central PCS).
• Experience in techno\-commercial evaluation and bid support for utility tenders.
