JOB DESCRIPTION – SITE BILLING ENGINEER (CIVIL)

Job Summary

The InfraSure is looking for an experienced Site Billing Engineer responsible for quantity measurement, preparation and verification of construction bills, BOQ management, material reconciliation and monitoring of project\-related costs.

The candidate must have practical experience in civil construction projects, sound knowledge of construction drawings, and the ability to independently manage site measurements and billing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• *1\. Client \& Contractor Billing**

• Prepare and verify Running Account (RA) bills and final bills.
• Prepare subcontractor bills based on actual site measurements.
• Check contractor claims against approved BOQ, drawings and executed work.
• Maintain billing records, payment statements and bill certification documentation.

• *2\. Quantity Surveying \& Measurement**

• Conduct physical measurements of executed civil works at site.
• Prepare measurement sheets, quantity abstracts and Measurement Books (MB).
• Calculate quantities for RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing and other construction activities.
• Verify quantities against approved drawings and BOQ.

• *3\. BOQ \& Cost Control**

• Prepare, review and update Bills of Quantities.
• Monitor executed quantities against budgeted quantities.
• Identify excess quantities, deviations and variations.
• Prepare rate analysis for non\-BOQ and extra items.
• Assist with construction cost monitoring.

• *4\. Material Reconciliation**

• Prepare reconciliation statements for steel, cement, concrete and other major materials.
• Compare theoretical consumption against actual consumption.
• Monitor material wastage and quantity discrepancies.
• Coordinate with site stores and execution teams.

• *5\. Documentation \& Reporting**

• Maintain records of RA bills, measurement sheets, BOQ revisions and variation statements.
• Prepare monthly billing summaries and project cost reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants and client representatives.
• Support final account reconciliation and project closure documentation.

Technical Skills Required

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for billing and quantity calculations.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD for drawing interpretation and quantity take\-offs.
• Strong understanding of BOQ, specifications, construction drawings and rate analysis.
• Knowledge of IS 1200 measurement standards and relevant CPWD/PWD practices.
• Experience in preparing RA bills, bar bending schedules (BBS) and material reconciliation statements.
• Ability to independently verify site measurements.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil construction billing.
• Experience in residential, commercial, institutional or infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong numerical accuracy and documentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with site execution and project management teams.
• Willingness to work full\-time at the assigned construction site.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in both **contractor\-side billing preparation and client/consultant\-side bill verification** will be preferred.

• *Key Expectation:** The candidate should be capable of independently handling site measurements, quantity verification, RA billing, reconciliation and billing documentation with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹40,000\.00 per month
