- *Role Overview**
We are hiring a BIM Electrical Engineer with hands\-on experience on US construction projects. You will develop and coordinate electrical BIM models for US\-based MEP engineering firms, supporting lighting, power, and low\-voltage system design across a wide range of project types.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Develop detailed electrical BIM models using Revit MEP, from concept through LOD 300/400 construction and shop drawings
- Design and model electrical systems: power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems
- Perform electrical clash detection and multi\-discipline coordination using Navisworks
- Produce electrical construction documents, single\-line diagrams, panel/DB schedules, and circuiting layouts
- Ensure compliance with NEC/NFPA 70 (US) or equivalent local codes/AHJ requirements for the project's region
- Create and maintain Revit electrical families as needed for project standards
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines within a Common Data Environment (CDE)
- Support BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements and ISO 19650 workflows where applicable
- Attend project coordination meetings and manage deliverable timelines

- *Required Skills \& Software**
- Proficiency in **Revit MEP** \- Electrical (mandatory)
- Proficiency in **Autodesk Navisworks** for clash detection and coordination
- Working knowledge of **AutoCAD MEP**
- Familiarity with **AGi32** or **DIALux** for lighting calculations (preferred)
- Working knowledge of at least one CDE: **BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Bluebeam, Procore, or ProjectWise**
- Strong understanding of relevant electrical codes (NEC/NFPA 70 for US projects; equivalent local codes for other regions)
- Familiarity with Dynamo and Autodesk COBie (added advantage)
- Excellent communication skills in English
