We are seeking an experienced and strategic Branch Manager / DGM to lead and manage overall branch operations for the AAC Blocks business. The role involves driving sales growth, overseeing operations, managing channel and project sales, strengthening market presence, and ensuring profitability of the branch. The candidate will be responsible for business development, team leadership, dealer network expansion, collections, and coordination across departments.
Sales \& Business Development
- Drive overall sales and revenue growth for AAC Blocks within the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business targets.
- Expand dealer, distributor, and channel partner network.
- Generate institutional and project sales through builders, contractors, developers, and government projects.
- Build strong relationships with architects, consultants, engineers, and key stakeholders.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand geographic coverage.
Branch Operations Management
- Oversee day\-to\-day branch operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Monitor inventory planning, dispatch coordination, and supply chain efficiency.
- Coordinate with plant, logistics, finance, and marketing teams.
- Ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain operational efficiency and cost control measures.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and operations team.
- Set performance targets and monitor team productivity.
- Conduct regular review meetings and field visits.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of branch staff.
Financial \& Commercial Responsibilities
- Ensure achievement of branch profitability targets.
- Monitor collections, receivables, and credit control.
- Prepare branch budgets, sales forecasts, and MIS reports.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and commercial procedures.
Market \& Customer Development
- Strengthen brand visibility and market positioning.
- Organize dealer meets, promotional activities, and technical awareness programs.
- Handle major customer issues and ensure long\-term relationship management.
- Develop strategies for customer retention and repeat business.
- *Required Qualifications**
- 8\-10 years in Building Material Industry (AAC Blocks / TMT/ Cements/ Pipes/ Paints, etc.)
- Strong exposure to channel sales and project sales.
Should be a domicile of Assam (Local candidates preferred)
Must have thorough knowledge of NE Market (especially Assam)
CTC: Up to 9\.00 Lac
Pay: ₹73,000\.00 \- ₹75,000\.00 per month
Work Location: In person
