Business Analyst Intern – Typical Job Description

• *Role:** Business Analyst Intern
• *Experience:** Fresher / 0–1 year
• *Employment:** Internship / Full\-time conversion possible

• *Key Responsibilities:**

• Gather and understand business requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare **BRD (Business Requirements Document)**, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
• Work with developers, testers, and business teams to clarify requirements.
• Analyze data using **Excel and SQL** and prepare reports/dashboards.
• Track requirements and project tasks using tools like **Jira**.
• Participate in meetings, requirement discussions, and UAT.
• Document business processes, issues, and proposed solutions.
• Support testing and validate whether the developed solution meets business requirements.
• Prepare presentations and communicate findings to stakeholders.

• *Skills usually required:**

• Excel – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic data analysis
• SQL basics
• Requirement gathering \& documentation
• Business/process analysis
• Jira or similar project\-management tools
• PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of SDLC
• Communication and analytical skills
• Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum

• *Good\-to\-have:**

• Power BI/Tableau
• Python basics
• Data analysis
• UAT/testing knowledge
• Knowledge of APIs or databases
