• *Business Analyst – Role Profile**

• *Role Purpose**

The Senior Business Analyst works collaboratively across business and technology teams to analyse, design, and deliver process and system improvements. Operating within a hybrid transformation environment, the role plays a key part in defining requirements, optimising workflows, supporting intelligent automation initiatives, and ensuring high\-quality delivery through structured testing and stakeholder engagement.

The role supports strategic transformation programmes across the business, including operational re\-engineering, service enhancement, capacity creation, automation delivery, and the adoption of AI\-powered solutions across the full trading and operational lifecycle.

In addition to supporting AI and automation initiatives, the Business Analyst is expected to utilise AI\-enabled tools and techniques to accelerate business analysis, process discovery, requirements gathering, documentation production, testing activities and overall delivery execution while maintaining governance, quality and compliance standards.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• *Requirements \& Analysis**

• Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, validate and document business requirements.
• Produce clear and structured documentation including Process Design Documents (PDDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, business cases, use cases and process maps.
• Analyse current business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for optimisation, automation and AI adoption.
• Evaluate new technologies, automation opportunities and AI capabilities, ensuring strong business cases and measurable benefits.
• Act as the bridge between business teams, technology teams, data teams and operations functions.
• Leverage AI\-powered analysis tools to accelerate requirements gathering, documentation creation and impact assessments.
• Apply data\-driven analysis techniques to identify opportunities for process improvement and business value creation.

• *Process \& Workflow Design**

• Own the definition and design of future\-state operating models and workflows.
• Model business processes using Business Optix or equivalent process modelling platforms.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery sessions with stakeholders across multiple business functions and locations.
• Ensure all process changes follow appropriate governance, change control and documentation standards.
• Take ownership of process and tool design on behalf of business stakeholders and secure approval.

• *Automation, AI \& Agentic Capabilities**

• Support the design and delivery of RPA and intelligent automation solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, VLMs and Agentic AI capabilities into business processes.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI for decision support, document processing, workflow orchestration, knowledge management and conversational experiences.
• Elicit, document and validate requirements for Agentic AI solutions, including governance controls, escalation paths and human\-in\-the\-loop processes.
• Support the design of digital workers and multi\-agent workflows that automate end\-to\-end business processes.
• Work closely with Automation Developers, AI Engineers and Solution Architects to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Maintain awareness of emerging automation and AI technologies and assess their applicability to business challenges.

• *UAT Ownership**

• Create and manage the full UAT lifecycle, including test strategies, plans, scripts and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate UAT execution with business users and stakeholders.
• Ensure defects are logged, triaged and resolved efficiently.
• Validate that delivered solutions meet business, regulatory and operational requirements.
• Leverage AI\-assisted testing tools to generate test cases, test scenarios and regression coverage.
• Support automation testing initiatives and intelligent quality assurance practices.
• Establish traceability between requirements, testing activities and delivered outcomes.
• Provide clear reporting on quality, risks and production readiness.

• *Delivery \& Stakeholder Engagement**

• Support delivery teams throughout design, build, testing and implementation phases.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Develop strong relationships across Operations, Technology, Risk and Business functions.
• Support change adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach stakeholders in identifying and prioritising automation and AI opportunities.
• Promote efficient use of AI\-enabled delivery tools within transformation projects.

• *Essential Skills \& Experience**

• *Technical \& Analytical**

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within change, transformation or technology programmes.
• Strong requirements gathering, process analysis and documentation skills.
• Experience using Generative AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise or equivalent enterprise AI solutions.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI\-generated outputs and ensure quality and accuracy.
• Experience with process modelling and BPM tools.
• Experience supporting or designing RPA and automation solutions.
• Strong analytical capability with experience using Excel, SQL, Jira and reporting tools.
• Experience in process re\-engineering and continuous improvement.
• Ability to build business cases and conduct cost\-benefit analysis.
• Strong planning, organisation and delivery management skills.

• *AI \& Automation Skills**

• Understanding of AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, VLMs and Agentic AI concepts.
• Ability to identify and quantify AI opportunities within business processes.
• Strong experience with conversational AI, copilots and intelligent automation platforms.
• Understanding of process mining and task mining concepts.
• Knowledge of Responsible AI principles, model limitations and governance practices.
• Awareness of AI\-related data privacy, security and compliance considerations.

• Experience with a variety of AI platforms.
• Exposure to process mining technologies.
• Experience supporting Agentic AI or AI\-enabled transformation programmes.
• Exposure to development technologies such as SQL Server, C\#, Java, VBA, HTML or CSS.

Experience with Blue Prism, UiPath or equivalent automation technologies.
