Destinoway is a growing travel technology company focused on delivering efficient and user\-friendly travel solutions. We are looking for an experienced **Business Analyst with knowledge of travel booking platforms and online travel technology** to join our team.

The ideal candidate should understand travel booking workflows, business requirements, system integrations, and coordination between technical and business teams. The candidate will play a key role in improving platform functionality, streamlining travel operations, and enhancing the overall customer booking experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for travel booking platforms and related digital solutions.
• Understand and analyze end\-to\-end travel booking workflows, including flight and hotel search, availability, pricing, booking confirmation, cancellations, and refunds.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), user stories, and use cases.
• Work with development, UI/UX, QA, and business teams to translate travel business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Analyze customer booking journeys and identify opportunities to improve user experience and conversion rates.
• Understand integrations with third\-party travel suppliers, booking APIs, payment gateways, and external service providers.
• Analyze fare rules, hotel pricing, availability, booking status, payment status, and cancellation policies.
• Create process flows, workflow diagrams, and requirement documentation for new features and platform enhancements.
• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and root\-cause analysis to resolve booking and operational issues.
• Coordinate with QA teams for functional testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Track project progress, manage requirements, and ensure timely delivery of business requirements.
• Analyze booking and operational data to prepare reports and support business decisions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, sprint planning, requirement discussions, and stakeholder reviews.

Required Skills \& Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Business Analysis, requirement gathering, and business process mapping.
• Knowledge of online travel booking platforms, OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), travel portals, or travel management systems.
• Understanding of flight and hotel booking lifecycles, including search, availability, pricing, booking, payment, cancellation, and refunds.
• Familiarity with third\-party API integrations, REST APIs, JSON, and basic API documentation.
• Understanding of payment gateway integration and booking/payment status workflows.
• Knowledge of BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and SDLC.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and requirement documentation tools.
• Familiarity with Jira, Trello, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem\-solving, communication, and stakeholder\-management skills.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech degree is mandatory.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience working with travel technology, travel portals, OTA platforms, booking engines, or travel\-related software solutions is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in requirement documentation and coordination with technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple requirements, analyze complex workflows, and work in a fast\-paced environment.
