Position Summary

We are looking for an energetic, self\-motivated, and result\-oriented Business Development Executive to identify new business opportunities, develop long\-term customer relationships, and support revenue growth across domestic and international markets.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a willingness to understand specialty chemical products and customer applications.

Key Responsibilities Business Development

  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Conduct market research to identify new industries, products, and customers.
  • Cold call, email, and visit prospective customers.
  • Schedule customer meetings and product presentations.
  • Attend trade exhibitions and networking events.
  • Build long\-term relationships with key decision\-makers.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular communication with existing customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
  • Coordinate technical discussions between customers and internal technical teams.
  • Ensure timely follow\-up on enquiries and quotations.
  • Improve customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Support

  • Prepare quotations in coordination with management.
  • Follow up on quotations until closure.
  • Assist in price negotiations while maintaining profitability.
  • Coordinate sample dispatches and product trials.
  • Monitor customer feedback after commercial production.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
  • Identify emerging business opportunities.
  • Collect customer feedback to support new product development.
  • Share market insights with management.

Coordination

Work closely with

to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.

CRM \& Reporting

  • Maintain accurate customer records in the company's CRM.
  • Update meeting reports and follow\-up activities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Track enquiries, quotations, conversions, and sales targets.
  • Maintain records of customer visits and business opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of new customers acquired
  • Qualified leads generated
  • Sales revenue achieved
  • Conversion ratio from enquiry to order
  • Customer retention rate
  • Customer visit frequency
  • Timeliness of follow\-ups
  • Accuracy of CRM updates
  • Collection support where required
  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • 1\-2 years of experience in B2B Sales or Business Development.
  • Experience in specialty chemicals, polymers, paints, construction chemicals, adhesives, coatings, or related industrial sectors will be preferred.
