Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and result\-driven **Business Development Executive (BDE)** to drive lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth for Shaip’s AI Data and Generative AI services. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and support the sales pipeline across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and generate new business opportunities across global markets.
- Prospect potential clients through LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking, referrals, and online lead generation platforms.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent lead generation activities.
- Conduct outbound outreach, qualify leads, and schedule discovery meetings for the sales team.
- Understand client requirements and align Shaip’s AI, data, and Generative AI solutions accordingly.
- Coordinate with Presales, Delivery, and Leadership teams to develop client\-specific solutions.
- Prepare presentations, capability decks, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation and revenue contribution targets.
- Build long\-term relationships with prospects and clients to drive repeat business opportunities.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in **Business Development, Lead Generation, Inside Sales, or B2B Sales**.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience using **LinkedIn Sales Navigator** for prospecting and lead generation.
- Strong understanding of outbound sales processes and client outreach.
- Experience in email campaigns, cold calling, and lead qualification.
- Comfortable working in **US/UK time zone overlap**.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship\-building skills.
- Hands\-on experience with CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
Preferred / Good\-to\-Have Skills
- Experience in **AI, Data Services, IT Services, SaaS, BPO, or Technology Sales**.
- Basic knowledge of **Generative AI, Data Annotation, Data Collection, Healthcare AI, or Machine Learning services**.
- Experience with lead generation platforms such as **Upwork** and similar portals.
