We are looking for a motivated and results\-oriented Business Development Executive with proven experience in Upwork bidding and international client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and bid on relevant projects through Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
- Prepare compelling and customized proposals based on client requirements.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into business opportunities.
- Communicate with international clients to understand their business needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Coordinate with technical and project teams to ensure accurate project estimation and timely proposal submission.
- Conduct follow\-ups with clients and manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Negotiate project scope, timelines, and commercial terms with clients.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline and update CRM records regularly.
- Stay updated on market trends, client requirements, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in Upwork bidding and business development.
- Strong proposal writing and client communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship\-building abilities.
- Experience in international sales and client handling.
- Sound understanding of the software development and IT services industry.
- Lead generation and account management experience.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and problem\-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working with international clients, particularly from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or Europe.
- Knowledge of freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, or PeoplePerHour will be an added advantage.
