We are looking for a motivated and results\-oriented Business Development Executive with proven experience in Upwork bidding and international client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and bid on relevant projects through Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
  • Prepare compelling and customized proposals based on client requirements.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into business opportunities.
  • Communicate with international clients to understand their business needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Coordinate with technical and project teams to ensure accurate project estimation and timely proposal submission.
  • Conduct follow\-ups with clients and manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
  • Negotiate project scope, timelines, and commercial terms with clients.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and update CRM records regularly.
  • Stay updated on market trends, client requirements, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in Upwork bidding and business development.
  • Strong proposal writing and client communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship\-building abilities.
  • Experience in international sales and client handling.
  • Sound understanding of the software development and IT services industry.
  • Lead generation and account management experience.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and problem\-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with international clients, particularly from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or Europe.
  • Knowledge of freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, or PeoplePerHour will be an added advantage.
