Job Description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for increasing sales, developing dealer and distributor networks, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers in the plywood and building materials market.

The role involves market expansion, client acquisition, sales strategy implementation, and coordination with production and marketing teams to achieve business growth targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales \& Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase plywood product sales
  • Identify new dealers, distributors, architects, contractors, and builders
  • Expand market presence across assigned territories
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Conduct market visits and client meetings regularly
  • Generate new business opportunities in retail and wholesale markets

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long\-term relationships with dealers and key customers
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after\-sales support
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

Market Analysis

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends
  • Analyze customer requirements and market demand
  • Provide market feedback to management for product improvement
  • Identify opportunities for launching new plywood products

Team Coordination

  • Coordinate with sales executives and regional sales teams
  • Work closely with production, logistics, and finance departments
  • Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities

Reporting \& Documentation

  • Prepare sales forecasts and business reports
  • Maintain customer databases and sales records using CRM software such as Zoho CRM or Salesforce
  • Track sales performance and territory growth

Required Skills

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of plywood, laminates, veneers, or building materials industry
  • Dealer and distributor management experience
  • Market analysis and business planning skills
  • Leadership and team management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools

Pay: ₹25,000\.00 \- ₹40,000\.00 per month
