We are hiring a **Business Development Manager** for a fast\-growing **Food Consulting \& Engineering services company** working with startups, SMEs, and manufacturing businesses across India.
This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy **consultative selling, client engagement, and solution\-based sales** rather than product pushing. You will manage **120\+ high\-intent inbound leads every month**, understand client requirements, propose customized consulting \& project solutions, and drive deal closures.
· Handle **120\+ inbound business leads per month** — qualify, consult, propose, negotiate, and close.
· Understand client business models, project scope, budgets, and timelines.
· Pitch **consulting, regulatory, product development, and turnkey manufacturing solutions**.
· Prepare proposals and commercial estimates in coordination with technical teams.
· Own the **complete sales cycle** from first conversation to final closure.
· Maintain CRM records, sales funnel, and conversion metrics.
· Build long\-term client relationships for **repeat business and referrals**.
· Ensure smooth handover to project execution teams after deal closure.
· Graduates / Post Graduates (Food Tech, Engineering, Management preferred, not mandatory)
· **2\+ years of experience in B2B Sales / Inside Sales / Business Development / Project Sales / Consulting Sales**
· Strong communication, negotiation, and closure skills.
· Comfortable handling **high inbound lead volume and structured sales processes**.
· Highly organized, target\-driven, and execution\-focused.
