Business Head - Consumer Tech

About Play9\- Play9 is a new consumer tech business backed by Dexter Ventures, one of India's leading musical instruments \& pro audio companies, with a leadership position in e\-commerce. Play9 brings that category strength into a new tech\-led consumer business in music. We're hiring a Business Head to build it from the ground up with a co\-founder mindset.

• *Detailed Role:**

• Own technology end to end: an app, a booking website and an operations console, built with freelance developers.

• Take it to market: launch on the ground, build supply partnerships, drive early customers.

• Track unit economics and hit launch milestones

• *Build the product:**

• Own technology from start to finish: a mobile app, a customer booking website and an internal operations dashboard.

• Choose the tools, write clear product briefs, and manage freelance designers and developers to deliver on time and on budget.

• Bring in the services we will rely on, such as maps, payments, OTP and WhatsApp messaging, and make sure they work together.

• Test everything with real users before launch and keep improving it afterwards.

• *Skills and Background:**

• A graduate (or post\-graduate) from Tier1 graded College or Univ. with at least 4 years of work experience in consumer tech, app building or D2C marketing. Need not necessarily be a developer or engineer but preferred.

• A good academic record and a genuine interest in tech building and running.

• Experience of building or running an app or website, ideally using no\-code tools such as FlutterFlow, Firebase, Retool or Webflow, and can show us what they built.

• A track record of starting something from scratch and seeing it through.

Pay: ₹85,000\.00 \- ₹110,000\.00 per month
