Business Intelligence Engineer III, Amazon Now

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Customer Experience (CX) team at Amazon Now. The BIE will own the end\-to\-end data ecosystem for CX — building scalable ETL pipelines, automated dashboards, and self\-service reporting frameworks that track key metrics across the customer journey including conversion funnels, delivery experience, retention, and NPS. The role involves partnering cross\-functionally with Product, UX, Engineering, and Operations teams to define success metrics for feature launches, conduct deep\-dive analyses on customer behavior and journey pain points, support A/B experimentation, and build anomaly detection to proactively flag CX degradation.

• *BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
• -----------------------

• 10\+ years of professional or military experience
• 5\+ years of SQL experience
• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi\-TB) data sets
• Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
• Experience with AWS technologies
• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining

• *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
