Business Manager

Job Purpose

To oversee and manage business operations in Guwahati, drive sales and profitability, ensure operational excellence, and lead teams effectively to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1**. Business Development \& Sales**

\- Achieve sales targets and drive business growth.

\- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, profitability

\- Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions wherever required.

• *2\. Operations Management**

\- Oversee day\-to\-day business operations across assigned stores and/or distribution activities.

\- Ensure smooth functioning of operations and adherence to company policies and procedures.

\- Monitor inventory, stock movement, billing, and operational costs.

• *3\. Team Management**

\- Lead, guide, and motivate store managers, sales teams, and other employees.

\- Ensure adequate manpower, staff productivity, discipline, and attendance.

\- Identify training needs and develop team capabilities.

• *4\. Reporting \& Coordination**

\- Prepare and submit regular business performance reports to management.

\- Analyse sales trends, targets, achievements, and areas for improvement.

\- Ensure timely implementation of management decisions and business initiatives.

• *5\. Compliance \& Governance**

\- Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and operational guidelines.

\- Maintain proper documentation and records.

\- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and brand standards.

• **Qualifications \& Experience***

\- Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Business Management or Marketing will be an advantage.

\- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in business operations, retail management, sales, or distribution.

\- Experience in handling multiple stores, teams, or business units will be preferred.

\- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem\-solving skills.

\- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and business performance analysis.

\-A result\-oriented professional with strong business acumen, leadership ability, and the capability to drive growth while ensuring smooth operations in Guwahati.

\- Age between 40 to 50

Pay: ₹40,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
