Job Title: Senior Developer – Business Rules Engine (BRE)

Location: Kurla, Mumbai (Work from Office)

Experience: 2–6 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer with strong hands\-on experience in Business Rules Engine (BRE) development. The ideal candidate should have experience designing, implementing, and maintaining rule\-based systems while collaborating with cross\-functional teams to build scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Business Rules Engine (BRE) solutions.

Analyze business requirements and convert them into configurable business rules.

Integrate BRE with enterprise applications and backend systems.

Optimize rule execution performance and ensure system scalability.

Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

3–4 years of software development experience.

Strong hands\-on experience with Business Rules Engines (BRE).

Proficiency in Java, C\#, or another object\-oriented programming language.

Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

Experience with SQL databases.

Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

Strong debugging and problem\-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Drools, IBM ODM, or similar BRE platforms.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Pay: ₹700,000\.00 \- ₹800,000\.00 per year
