• *About the job**

The Industrials team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to develop the next generation application for Planning Management of Our customers. Our team works on the cutting\-edge technology stack which processes Big Data to help our customers in making analytical and business decisions. The volume of data, flexible architecture and configurability are the interesting challenges that the Team works upon while delivering features through CI/CD.

• *As a Software Developer, you will:**

• Understand the requirements from the product management and should be able to translate them to the product features and architecture using new technologies to solve the business problem.
• Present the design and proposed architecture to the stakeholders. Should be able to define the architecture for scale, performance and usability. Should facilitate the selection of correct technical choices via collaboration.
• Do Hands on Coding, review and testing of C/C\+\+ mid\-tier.
• Guide and mentor junior developers and peers in the team.
• Improve on processes related to quality of the software development. Work closely with the development and testing teams to ensure quality software development.
• Work closely with product management to define the future requirements.
• Help the management in project scoping and execution.

• *Required Qualifications**

• At least 6\-10 years of working experience in developing C/C\+ Enterprise applications.
• Education requirement. B Tech, MCA, or equivalent
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
• Good understanding and usage of OOAD and Design Patterns.
• Using XML, JSON effectively
• Experience on Windows as well Linux operating system with basic troubleshooting skills

Working with Databases/SQL * \- Oracle, Postgres

• Knowledge of software development processes and Quality Standards

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• Familiar with Agile methodology and with tools such as Jira, Confluence
• Working knowledge of Jenkins, Git/Gerrit, GitHub workflows.
• Coding experience in other languages like Java, JavaScript, Go\-lang, Python will be preferred.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of any public cloud providers like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, etc.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI, CD) model
