Job Description
- *Essential Functions****:**
- Collaborates with CAD Software Manager to complete software development assignments.
- Designs and architects software components using various software technologies such as OpenGL/DirectX, NVidia CUDA, and cloud computing.
- Designs and develops software components using primarily C\+\+; may employ Python.
- Ensures consistency, accuracy, and compliance with required standard.
- Interacts with internal and external customers to understand and clarify customer needs.
- Provides technical support and consultation to staff and customers.
- Troubleshoots, tests, and analyzes complex issues and problems; determines solution.
- Researches new technology and trends in computational geometry and visualization.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
- *Education and Experience:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum three (3\) years programming experience using C/C\+\+.
- Strong background in Mathematics, Computational Geometry, or Computer Graphics required.
- Expertise in Visual Studio and source control required.
- Experience writing CAD software required.
- Experience with dental CAD software a plus.
