Vehicle EMC \& EMI CAE Simulation \& Evaluation
§ Prepare CAE models using HYPERMESH/ANSA – Mesh discretization, Assembly, Constraints \& Loads – for Automotive Sub\-systems \& Vehicles
§ System \& Full vehicle simulation for EMC / EMI performance using EMCoS Studio and EMCoS SimDAT softwares.
§ Conduct 3D electromagnetic field simulation for a wide range of applications including RF/Microwave design, optics and photonics, antenna design and installed performance, specific absorption rate (SAR), bio\-electromagnetics, co\-existence, de\-sense and interference, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electromagnetic interference (EMI) and environmental effects (E3\), Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI)., Radiated Immunity (RI), Radiated Emissions (RE), Electro Static Discharge (ESD), Conducted Emissions (CE), Conducted Immunity (CI), and Transfer Impedance.
§ Interpretation of results, comprehend failure modes and provide directions for design countermeasures (Hardware / Software) by performing parameter studies on CAE model.
§ Report preparation and communication with stakeholders – design, testing – for implementation of countermeasures.
Interact with Testing teams for analyzing failures, correlation of CAE results with physical testing results and make improvements in CAE methodology.
Technical / Functional
§ Strong fundamentals of Electromagnetic theory, EMC/EMI principle, Signal \& Power Integrity (SI/PI)
§ Good knowledge of working (Hardware \& Software) of Automotive Sensors, Controllers, Electronics \& Electrical circuits.
§ Experience in electromagnetic field simulation in automotive domain at subsystem \& vehicle level, using analysis software \- EMCoS Studio and EMCoS SimDAT; Proficiency in data analysis using Matlab / Simulink.
§ Experience in conducting and evaluating tests in accordance with ISO 11451 series, ISO 11452 series, ISO 7637 series, ISO 10605, CISPR 12, CISPR 25, and CISPR 36\.
§ Experience in evaluation using RF measurement equipment such as network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
§ Knowledge of wireless communication equipment (antenna fundamentals, transmission line fundamentals) and experience in design and/or measurement and evaluation.
iNARTE Engineer certification is preferred. Knowledge of Scripting (Python, VB) will be desired.
