Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Category Manager to lead the growth and performance of multiple brands across ecommerce and quick\-commerce channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for business planning, revenue growth, marketplace management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of brands across ecommerce and quick\-commerce channels.
- Own revenue, profitability, and overall business performance for assigned accounts.
- Develop and execute category growth strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with marketplace partners and brand stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance, profitability, inventory health, and market trends.
- Identify growth opportunities and implement improvement initiatives.
- Lead business reviews and present performance insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of business plans.
- Support new product launches and marketplace expansion initiatives.
- Lead and mentor team members while driving accountability and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in Category Management, Ecommerce, Retail, FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Business Management.
- Experience managing revenue growth and business performance.
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with ecommerce marketplaces is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience handling multiple brands or categories.
- Experience managing ecommerce or quick\-commerce channels.
- Experience leading cross\-functional teams.
- Exposure to FMCG, Personal Care, Healthcare, Consumer Electronics, or Consumer Goods categories.
