Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in test automation using **Playwright** with **TypeScript/JavaScript**. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing principles, experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts, and the ability to work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high\-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and end\-to\-end test cases.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and utilities.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Playwright API testing.
• Validate UI functionality across multiple browsers.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand\-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

Must Have* 1–2 years of experience in Software Testing/QA Automation.

• Hands\-on experience with **Playwright**.
• Strong knowledge of **TypeScript** or **JavaScript**.
• Understanding of automation framework design and best practices.
• Experience in UI automation testing.
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman or Playwright API testing).
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and problem\-solving abilities.

Good to Have* Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Experience with cross\-browser and cross\-platform testing.
• Exposure to performance or security testing concepts.
