About the Role

Neeraj Bhagat \& Co. is looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 3–8 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, auditing, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage client assignments independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and financial statement audits.
• Handle direct and indirect taxation, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and related statutory filings.
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and other financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage GST returns, income tax returns, tax assessments, notices, and related documentation.
• Review accounting records, reconciliations, and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist clients with tax advisory, financial reporting, and compliance\-related matters.
• Coordinate with clients, statutory authorities, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory updates and ensure timely implementation of changes in applicable laws.
• Supervise junior team members and ensure timely completion of assignments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI.
• 3–8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing, taxation, GST, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands\-on experience in statutory audits, tax audits, financial reporting, and return filings.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally or other relevant ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem\-solving, communication, and client\-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• High standards of professional integrity and attention to detail.
