- *Location:** Centro Hotel – Pune (with potential relocation as we expand across Tier 2 cities)

As a Chef de Partie at Centro, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting consistent, plant\-forward, innovative, and flavor\-rich dishes in alignment with the brand ethos. You will lead a section of the kitchen, maintain quality, mentor junior staff, and support continuous culinary innovation for Chirp Café, our flagship café, and co\-working space.
- Independently manage a kitchen section (grill, sauté, pantry, or garde manger).
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation as per Centro and Chirp’s standards.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene, HACCP protocols, and kitchen safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes aligned with our \#NoBorders, plant\-forward culinary philosophy.
- Train and mentor Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants.
- Ensure efficient mise\-en\-place and station readiness before each service.
- Monitor portion and waste control to maximize kitchen efficiency and minimize costs.
- Work closely with the service team to ensure timely and guest\-centric food delivery.
- *Must\-Have Requirements**
- Minimum 3\-5 years of culinary experience, with at least 1 year as a CDP.
- Strong understanding of plant\-based, vegan, and health\-conscious cuisines.
- Exposure to boutique hotel kitchens, upscale cafes, or fine dining preferred.
- Familiarity with international cuisines (e.g., Mediterranean, Asian, modern Indian).
- Discipline, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
- Passion for food presentation and innovation.
- Comfortable using kitchen tech (ordering systems, digital checklists).
- Willingness to relocate as Centro expands across India.
- Strong interpersonal skills – ability to lead, motivate, and train junior staff.
