Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented **Chief Accountant** to manage accounting operations, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and cash flow management. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, expertise in tax compliance, and proven experience managing an accounts team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and organized documentation of all financial transactions.
• Prepare and file monthly TDS returns and e\-TDS returns within statutory deadlines.
• Prepare and file GST returns online, ensuring timely compliance.
• Review and supervise the preparation and payment of Professional Tax and Provident Fund challans.
• Monitor and maintain proper cash flow management.
• Handle finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports for management.
• Prepare income tax computations and calculate tax liabilities.
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR).
• Manage, supervise, and coordinate the accounts team to ensure accuracy and timely completion of work.
• Handle income tax scrutiny, assessment, and refund\-related matters.
• Ensure timely payment of advance tax and compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
• Supervise and review the work of at least two accountants.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Inter CA qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of Tally, taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in finalization of accounts and preparation of MIS reports.
• Proven experience managing and supervising an accounts team of at least two accountants.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Salary

₹6,00,000 – ₹9,00,000 per annum, depending on experience and suitability.
