Chief Accountant

• *Job Description**

We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented Chief Accountant to manage the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and financial controls in our gold manufacturing business.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Manage day\-to\-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Handle purchase, sales, gold stock and jewelry manufacturing accounts.
• Maintain accurate gold inventory records, including raw gold, WIP, finished goods, and wastage.
• Monitor gold reconciliation and job\-work transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle GST returns, TDS, TCS, and other statutory compliances.
• Manage bank reconciliation, vendor payments, customer outstanding, and cash flow.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and statutory authorities.
• Monitor production costs, making charges, wastage, and manufacturing expenses.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
• Ensure proper internal controls and accounting procedures.

Required Qualifications \& Skills

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience in gold, jewellery, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, and taxation.
• Good knowledge of inventory accounting and gold reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem\-solving skills.
