About the Company

Positron Energy Limited is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its Finance \& Accounts function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening financial controls, and driving strategic financial planning to support the company's growth objectives.

• *Candidates with experience in listed companies, preferably in the Oil \& Gas or Energy sector, will be given preference.**

Key Responsibilities

• *1\. Financial Strategy \& Planning**

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead annual budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management.
• Drive cost optimization and profitability improvement initiatives.

• *2\. Financial Operations \& Reporting**

• Oversee end\-to\-end Finance \& Accounts operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, fund management, and financial liquidity.
• Establish and strengthen financial systems, processes, and internal controls.

• *3\. Statutory Compliance \& Taxation**

• Ensure compliance with applicable provisions of the Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
• Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable SEBI and stock exchange requirements, wherever relevant.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, regulators, and other external stakeholders.

• *4\. Banking \& Treasury Management**

• Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and financial institutions.
• Oversee treasury operations, fund utilization, and working capital management.
• Evaluate financial risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

• *5\. Leadership \& Business Partnership**

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance \& Accounts team.
• Work closely with senior management and business heads on financial decision\-making.
• Provide financial insights for business expansion, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and automation within the finance function.

Educational Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA) / ICWA / MBA in Finance from a recognized institution.
• Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, financial reporting, taxation, and corporate financial regulations.

Experience \& Industry Requirements

• Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in a senior Finance \& Accounts role.
• Experience in a Listed Company is highly preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates from Oil \& Gas, City Gas Distribution (CGD), EPC, Energy, Infrastructure, and Manufacturing industries.
• Strong exposure to financial reporting, statutory compliance, audits, taxation, and financial planning.

Pay: ₹36,000\.00 \- ₹140,000\.00 per month
