Chief Manager - Information Technology (Senior React Native Engineer – ICC)

### **What are we looking for?**

### **Take over Retail applications from partners and drive new change requests, features and enhancements. Quickly understand the existing architecture and deliver end\-to\-end solutions, across mobile and backend, with speed and quality. Start as a hands\-on individual contributor, then onboard junior developers and grow into technical leadership.**

Primary focus: build and enhance applications and their backend services, with production support when required

### **What does the job entail?**

### **Key Responsibilities**

• Own the technical handover, architecture understanding and codebase transition.
• Deliver change requests end to end: analysis, design, development, testing and release across mobile and backend.
• Design backend APIs and mobile changes together, so that the design and code are aligned and do not need rework later.
• Improve application speed, stability, security and maintainability.
• Implement authentication, SSO, token/session management and API gateway integrations.
• Build and maintain REST APIs in Node.js and Java/Spring Boot.
• Automate mobile and API testing, and work with DevOps on GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Own App Store Connect and Google Play Console management, including signing, submissions, compliance and phased rollouts.
• Onboard and mentor junior developers, review their code, and resolve production issues when required.

### **Work Experience**

8–10 years in software engineering, including at least 4 years in production React Native

### **Essential Qualification**

B Tech, BE, BSc IT,BCA

### **Preferred Skills**

### **Must Have**

• 8–10 years in software engineering, including at least 4 years in production React Native
• Strong hands\-on skills in React Native, TypeScript and JavaScript
• Has shipped at least 4\-5 production Android/iOS apps, and has maintained them after release
• Has taken over an existing application from another team and got it running in production
• Strong technical analysis, and ability to deliver within an existing architecture
• Has built production REST APIs in Node.js and/or Java/Spring Boot, with depth in backend design: data models, business logic, error handling and versioning
• Experience with authentication, token/session management and API gateway integration
• Has diagnosed performance and stability issues using profiling, monitoring and crash analytics
• Experience with automated testing, GitHub, CI/CD, and App Store / Google Play releases
• Has onboarded or mentored other developers
• Follow the security standard OWASP MASVS or similar mobile security standards

### **Good to Have**

• Working knowledge of both Node.js or Java/Spring Boot
• Web development, including Next.js
• Insurance, BFSI or another regulated domain
• Apigee, Keycloak, Kafka
• AWS or containerised services
• Formal release governance, or vendor\-to\-in\-house transition
