CloudiQS \- is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, founded in 2019 and based in the United Kingdom, serving SMB and education customers across the UK and EMEA. We were named Fastest Growing AWS Advanced Partner of the Year in the UK, and we hold AWS competencies in Generative AI, Migration, Microsoft Workloads, Education and SMB, with MSP designation. We are building an agentic AI platform and pursuing the AWS Agentic AI Competency.
The role
We are hiring a hands\-on, partner\-focused CTO to establish and lead our engineering team in Bangalore, own our technical strategy, and act as the technical custodian of our AWS partnership. This is a build\-it\-from\-the\-ground\-up role: you will hire the founding India team while remaining deeply technical yourself. Success is measured by the strength of the AWS relationship, the competencies we achieve, the co\-sell pipeline we enable, and the calibre of the team and platform you build.
- Build, hire and lead our Bangalore engineering hub from the ground up
- Stay genuinely hands\-on — write code, review architectures and prototype on AWS, not just direct from a distance
- Own the technical roadmap for our AWS partnership: competency attainment, audits, renewals and tier progression
- Act as senior technical contact with AWS Partner Development and Solutions Architecture teams to unlock funding and co\-sell
- Lead Well\-Architected Framework Reviews and ensure compliance with AWS Partner programme requirements
- Set the architecture and engineering direction for our agentic AI platform on Amazon Bedrock
- Provide senior architectural oversight on customer engagements and complex bids
- 10 to 15 years in cloud technology, including senior technical leadership — while remaining hands\-on
- A proven track record within an AWS Partner organisation (competencies, co\-sell, funding or audits)
- Deep, hands\-on AWS expertise across compute, networking, security, data and serverless
- Demonstrable experience building and hiring engineering teams, ideally from scratch
- Strong command of the AWS Well\-Architected Framework
- Experience delivering production workloads, ideally generative or agentic AI on Bedrock
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and/or Security – Specialty
- Background in managed services / MSP operating models
- Experience with UK or EMEA based AWS Partners serving SMB and education
- A founding leadership seat in a fast\-growing AWS partner business
- Ownership of a live agentic AI platform, a new Bangalore team and the partnership behind it
