Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee civil construction and infrastructure activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality control, manpower coordination, material management, measurement of work, and ensuring that all activities are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• *1\. Site Execution and Supervision**

• Supervise day\-to\-day civil construction and infrastructure activities at project sites.
• Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor construction activities related to roads, foundations, RCC structures, drainage, retaining walls, and other civil works.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and site workers.

• *2\. Drawing and Technical Coordination**

• Read and interpret civil engineering drawings, layouts, sections, and structural details.
• Coordinate with design and planning teams to resolve site\-related technical issues.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and engineering standards.

• *3\. Quality Control**

• Monitor the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
• Ensure proper execution of concrete work, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, and earthwork.
• Coordinate material testing and maintain quality inspection records.
• Identify and rectify construction defects and deviations.

• *4\. Quantity Estimation and Measurement**

• Calculate quantities of cement, steel, concrete, aggregates, sand, and other construction materials.
• Prepare BOQs, material requirements, and daily work progress reports.
• Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion records.
• Maintain measurement books and quantity records.

• *5\. Project Planning and Progress Monitoring**

• Monitor daily and weekly project progress against planned schedules.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure timely completion of activities.
• Identify delays, material shortages, and execution challenges and report them to management.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site registers, and project documentation.

• *6\. Material and Manpower Management**

• Ensure the availability and proper utilization of construction materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Coordinate with the stores and procurement teams for material requirements.
• Minimize material wastage and maintain proper site inventory records.

• *7\. Safety and Compliance**

• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and applicable construction standards.
• Coordinate with the Safety Officer to maintain safe working conditions.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe execution of civil works.

• *8\. Reporting and Documentation**

• Prepare daily progress reports, work completion reports, and site inspection records.
• Maintain records of material consumption, labour deployment, measurements, and quality checks.
• Report technical issues, deviations, and project requirements to the reporting manager.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of civil construction and infrastructure project execution.
• Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, and material calculations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of site supervision, quality control, and construction safety.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills.
• Ability to work at project sites and manage multiple activities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in infrastructure, roads, mining, excavation, crusher plants, industrial projects, or heavy civil construction.
• Experience in contractor coordination, site measurements, and project reporting.

Pay: ₹20,000\.00 \- ₹25,000\.00 per month
