Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and detail\-oriented **Civil Site Store \& Accounts Executive** to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing site stores, maintaining inventory records, handling material receipts and issues, and supporting day\-to\-day accounting and administrative activities at the project site. This role is critical in ensuring smooth material flow, accurate documentation, and effective cost control throughout the construction project.
The successful candidate should have experience in construction site store management, inventory control, and basic accounting procedures. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally are highly desirable.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore Management
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Verify quantities and quality of materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Maintain accurate stock registers, inventory records, and material issue logs.
- Issue materials to site engineers, supervisors, and contractors as per approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate material replenishment requests to prevent shortages.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and safeguarding of materials and equipment.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock consumption reports.
Accounts \& Documentation
- Maintain records of purchase invoices, delivery challans, goods receipt notes (GRNs), and supplier documentation.
- Assist in processing supplier bills and coordinating with the accounts department for payments.
- Maintain petty cash records and track site\-related expenses.
- Prepare and submit material consumption statements and cost reports.
- Ensure accurate filing and documentation of all store and accounting records.
- Support internal audits and inventory inspections by providing required documentation.
Coordination \& Reporting
- Coordinate with procurement teams, vendors, site engineers, and project managers regarding material requirements and deliveries.
- Track material movement and report shortages, damages, or excess stock.
- Generate regular reports on inventory status, material usage, and site expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory procedures, and documentation standards.
Qualifications \& Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–5 years of experience in construction site stores, inventory management, or site accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally ERP, and inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of construction materials, storekeeping practices, and basic accounting principles.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem\-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and record\-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast\-paced construction site environment.
Pay: ₹700,000\.00 \- ₹850,000\.00 per month
