### **About the Role**

We are looking for a highly skilled **Cloud Automation Engineer** with strong expertise in Azure Cloud, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, and managing scalable Azure\-based virtual lab environments while driving operational efficiency, reliability, and cost optimization.

### **Your Role**

As a Cloud Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated Azure infrastructure solutions, reusable deployment frameworks, and environment lifecycle management capabilities. You will work closely with cloud architects, DevOps teams, and engineering stakeholders to deliver highly automated and repeatable cloud environments.

### **Key Responsibilities**

• Automate the creation, configuration, operation, and teardown of Azure\-based virtual lab environments.
• Develop reusable **Terraform** and/or **Bicep** modules for Azure infrastructure provisioning.
• Automate deployment of Azure services including Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Private Connectivity, and Monitoring solutions.
• Create and maintain reusable VM images, deployment artifacts, and infrastructure configurations.
• Develop automation for building, versioning, packaging, validating, publishing, and deploying environment bundles.
• Automate deployment and movement of build, topology, emulator, configuration, and test bundles across virtual machines.
• Implement configuration\-driven provisioning based on predefined recipes and topology definitions.
• Develop scripts for environment startup, shutdown, hibernation, health checks, reset, cleanup, and teardown activities.
• Build automation for resource tagging, expiration policies, orphan\-resource detection, and cloud cost management.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure provisioning and configuration issues to improve reliability and repeatability.
• Maintain Infrastructure\-as\-Code repositories, deployment documentation, runbooks, and operational guides.

### **Required Skills \& Experience**

• 7\+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure Automation, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands\-on experience with **Microsoft Azure** services and cloud infrastructure design.
• Expertise in **Terraform** and/or **Azure Bicep** for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience automating Azure networking, compute, storage, security, and monitoring services.
• Strong scripting experience using **PowerShell** , **Python** , or **Bash** .
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of Azure Virtual Machine image management and environment provisioning.
